You can probably get some kind of visa no problem. It most likely depends on your intentions. Tourist visas are usually the easiest kind of visa to get but last the shortest period of time. You should check out the link to the Spanish embassy here in the United States.

First, the Spanish Embassy, as all embassies are, is in Washington DC. The Spanish Consulate General in Boston can help you with what you need without having to go through the Embassy. In fact they will merely send you back to the Boston Consulate for help if you are resident there as that is there territory. As to the specific requirements for your particular case I would contact the Consul directly and ask them. They will have a list of requirements and you should go down the list with them BEFORE going to the Consulate. I was an honorary consul in Boston in 1990 so I know where this comes from. You will not be given citizenship. They will extend a visa to you and you can follow up with the Spanish Immigration authorities in Spain for citizenship if you so desire. Good luck!
