What are good towns in Spain to live in

What are good towns in Spain to live in?
My family is moving to Spain for one year starting next June. We want to live in a small town about 1 hour off the beach. Strictly Spanish speakers (we want to learn Spanish)

Not enough info .... - Are you moving here with work, or to look for work ? - Do you already speak Spanish and/or one of the Regional languages ? - Do you have kids that will need to go to school ? - Do you have a medical condition or need to be close to a Hospital or Doctor ? - Same goes for an Airport ...? .... and if you want 'Strictly Spanish Speakers' then you will need to allow for the fact that once you go inland from the Costa's then many Spaniards won't even speak much Caste llano ( excepting maybe Madrid or Castillo y la Mancha )

Do you really know what you need to know and what you need to have? You know that Spain has 27% unemployment, not looking to change much DOWNWARDS for now, unless there's some miracle. You may need a visa, etc. No, you don't want to move to Mexico. It's not cheaper if you're from Europe, and it's dangerous as SNOT these days! I'd suggest any place along the Costa del Luz, in the North (Green Spain - Basque country, Asturias/Galicia) or Jerez, Cádiz, someplace near there. Not sure how far it actually is from the coast, but Ronda is spectacular! (Málaga province) You should check it out. Don't think there's much work there, though.

Hello. I'm from spain. I live in Zamora, is a small city and it isn't near the beach, but we have a big and very beauty lake ( it is in sanabria, a small region) you can find the lake in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2-Ea5PWVbQ&feature=related , but if you are looking a city, i think the best are barcelona ( but is very big), or in andalucia sevilla, granada, or cadiz...almeria... but here there is good weather most all the year, if you prefer another site with other climate, i think galicia or pais vasco, asturias, gijón are good, but here the weaher normally is cold, but the snow are beautifull jajaja. sorry for my english, now i'm trying to learn it. as we say in sanabria: un besico! :D
