Would it be difficult for a black woman to live in Spain

Would it be difficult for a black woman to live in Spain?
I plan on studying abroad (in Barcelona) over the summer to learn Spanish. Now, my knowledge of the language is rather pathetic, but I figured that if I'm thrown into the culture, it'll be a lot easier to learn than in a classroom in New Orleans, Louisiana. Is there a high chance that I may not feel welcomed because I'm black and because I don't know Spanish?

No, you'll love studying in Spain, their is a lot of black people from all corners of the globe living in Spain. Outside the United States their is no color segregation or skin color issues. That's an American thing, were all people outside the USA, not skin colors. Also, almost everyone speaks English in Spain, so don't waste your money on Spanish translation books.
